As a design lead, I've owned strategy, UX and visual design on native apps, web, and in-business digital interfaces at places ranging from massive public companies to nimble startups. I pull from a diverse skillset including traditional design principles, accessibility, design systems, executive stakeholder management, and internal culture creation, choosing the best tools to get the job done well.

My insatiable curiosity and deep experience flexing between high-level business strategy, systems-level thinking, and elevated design craft is instrumental in continuing to deliver innovative experiences and outsized business impact — like when we introduced cutting-edge touch ID technology as the new industry standard in banking at Chase, when we rebranded all of Varo's digital platforms, and when we reimagined how to build strong customer relationships before they stepped into their first bank branch.

At Chase, I spearheaded initiatives such as communities of practice, fostering a culture of learning and creativity. I enhanced the speed of designers in achieving accessibility compliance by developing a pragmatic designer accessibility checklist. Additionally, I documented and championed design systems that elevated our digital teams' competencies, ensuring alignment with the new language and system.

During my time at Varo, I took the initiative to unite disparate product design and marketing teams through the implementation of a shared design systems and language refresh. This resulted in the release of a co-created vision and significantly improved team dynamics.
